Top Publishers Hand-Selecting Amazon Brands to Promote this Holiday Season

This holiday season, top publishers are actively sourcing brands to include in their gift guides, newsletters, listicles, reviews, and more to drive high-intent shoppers straight to Amazon storefronts.

Here’s why it matters:

  • Amazon brands are seeing a 5:1 conversion rate compared to their DTC site

  • Millions of shoppers discover products through trusted publishers

Levanta is working directly with these publishers to introduce them to a small number of 7–9 figure brands.

If you qualify, your products could be featured in high-traffic placements that deliver predictable CAC and directly measurable sales.

Flooding the Zone with Shit

Today, we're dissecting what I like to call "flooding the zone with shit." There's a theory about viral songs that I want to make clear that I think the theory is right, I just don't think it's necessary for a viral hit.

The theory works like this: when you're scrolling TikTok, every individual has different interests and different things they engage with.

Let's say you've gotten someone to hear your hook from an influencer video or from your own video, and that person also scrolls Italian brain rot, Marvel memes, or SNEAKO videos— God help them if they scroll through SNEAKO videos, their brain are rotting from that moron— the algorithm is looking for what to serve them. If you have a SNEAKO or Marvel-affiliated video or a SpongeBob-affiliated video, and they've engaged with your song, the algorithm may serve that content if it has those two qualities together.

The algorithm may serve them your song if there's a video available that combines your music with their other interests. So the idea is that you flood the zone with lots of different content around your song, covering lots of different interests. This helps increase the likelihood that potential fans hear your song multiple times across different contexts.

The Virality Misconception

Here's what I know happens when I explain things like this: some of your minds go "this needs to be done to go viral." You think there's no way you can go viral unless you do this, that this is the key to going viral.

We just tested these on campaigns, and they did not do shit. I'm gonna tell you straight up, both campaigns didn't do anything. I don't think the songs were destined for virality.

“Raising The Floor”

I've seen other campaigns where this stuff has worked well. I've had friends tell me this stuff has helped them. Basically, what we call it is "raising the floor."

Imagine if something was already doing well - here's the bottom of the floor, it's already up here and getting some traction. They add this strategy, and it brings it up a little bit more. It starts getting more engagement, and becomes a little bit of gasoline on the fire. But we're not talking about a jet fuel explosion - we're talking about throwing a canister of gas on existing flames.

The Proof of Concept Requirement

This isn't much money as we'll go over in a few minutes. If you are starting to gain traction and have a proof of concept—and not everybody understands what proof of concept means—this strategy can help.

If your song is starting to do well and you're thinking "fuck, I got a couple hundred dollars I want to throw at trying to make this keep going more viral on TikTok and Instagram," these services can help by pouring fuel on the fire.
